Who keeps Texas beautiful? Affiliates do.
As an affiliate, you are one of the greatest supporters of our vision to make Texas the cleanest, most beautiful state in the nation. Without our supporters, our efforts to empower Texans through education to take responsibility for enhancing their community environment would not be possible. We developed the series of Keep Texas Beautiful collectible ornaments to help fund our cause, and our affiliate’s cause, as a fundraiser without an enormous outlay of funds.

Since the first ornament was unveiled in 2004, dozens of our affiliates have sold our series of collectible ornaments as a fundraiser that benefits both the affiliate and Keep Texas Beautiful. As a supporter, you will help spread the word about KTB, its affiliates, and what we stand for. In addition, the monies raised will help KTB further our program and service options for affiliates. 

Ornament Series and Pricing Details
This series is a collector’s item, and many Texans proudly display their ornaments throughout the year. The ornaments are made of solid brass and plated in 24-carat gold. The average size of each is approximately three inches in diameter, and the ornaments are individually boxed and include a description card.

The ornaments individually cost $19 plus tax/shipping if applicable; however, you may purchase 25 or more at a special discounted rate of $14 each. While the KTB suggested selling price is $19.00, you can choose if you want to sell them for whatever you believe your market will bear. Remember if they bought them individually from KTB, they would have to pay shipping, which is $8+.

Opportunities to Promote our Ornaments

• Present them to sponsors as a thank you for financially backing your projects.
• Place them in shadow boxes and present them as awards for outstanding individuals, groups or projects in your community.
• Present them to your mayor, county judge, city manager, and council and commission members in appreciation of their support of your program.
• Work with gift shops and stores in your local area to get the ornaments sold in stores.
• Give them to your volunteers, board and committee members.
  
• Work with your local press and request that they be advertised in local newspapers, magazines and holiday gift guides.
  
• Create a beautiful Christmas tree display by placing the ornaments on a large evergreen tree, or work with local businesses to do so.
  
• Ask your Chamber of Commerce or Visitors Bureau to seek their help in promoting the ornaments.
  
• Ask your mayor to proclaim it the "Official City Ornament."
  
• Send an email promoting the ornament to your database of email addresses.
  
• Post an image of the ornament on your website.
  
• Talk to local officials about working the ornaments into holiday festivities - perhaps a parade, festival or trail of lights.
  
• Talk to local PTA's about selling the ornament as a school fundraiser.
  
• Set up a booth and sell the ornaments at your local flea market or holiday fair.
