Affiliate Annual Fee notices were mailed in early December. The $75 Annual Fee is due January 1. The Annual Report will be on-line this year at http://surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=220421415311 . If you prefer to receive a paper copy of the Annual Report, please call Laura at 1-800-CLEAN-TX. The Annual Recognition form for Good Standing, Gold and Silver Star status was included in the mailing as well. 

KTB WINTER FORUM – JANUARY 24
The KTB Winter Forum will take place on Tuesday, January 24 in Pearland. The Forum will offer great training topics including:

• Fast Fundraising Facts for Fame & Fortune by Jean Block
• Awards Training
• Hands-on Environmental Education Training

The Forum is free, with lunch provided by Cartridges for Kids! For more information and to register, see the enclosed form or visit www.ktb.org. Reminder – KTB will be hosting a Basic Training on Monday, January 23 in Pearland. You may also register for this event on the Forum Registration form.

LAKE & RIVER CLEANUP PROGRAM SPRING SEASON
KTB & TCEQ are excited to kick-off the spring season of the Lake & River Cleanup Program! We are continuing our Trash Fish promotional campaign with “Striper/Strangler,” and are proud to offer free items such as garbage bags, gloves, kid’s activity sheets, sunblock lotion, promotional posters, and much more. The early registration deadline is Friday, January 6 at 5:00 p.m. Forms received by Jan. 6 will be entered to win one of two cases of Annie’s Homegrown Shells & White Cheddar Natural Macaroni & Cheese (60 boxes/case). AWARDS TRAINING CD
Keep Texas Beautiful recently mailed an Awards Training CD to everyone who applied for the 2005 Governor’s Community Achievement Awards (GCAA) and KTB Awards. If you did not apply for an award last year but would like a free copy of the awards training CD, please contact Laura at laura@ktb.org. Award applications can be found online at www.ktb.org.

KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL IN A THEATER NEAR YOU
Keep America Beautiful has teamed up with Coca-Cola to share an “Eco-Fact” at movie theaters across the country. The slide, which will appear before each movie starts, will be seen by approximately 2,340,000 people! Look for KAB at the movies this January and February.
