WHEN: Thursday, March 22, 2001 -- Noon until 5:30 p.m.

WHERE: On the grounds of the 1,000-acre site of Texas Disposal Systems, located southeast of downtown Austin.

Guests are surrounded by a rustic pavilion, two authentic log cabins and a ranching operation that features exotic animals from Africa, the Middle East, India, New Zealand, Great Britain and North America.

WHAT: Similar to the style of a golf tournament, guests will be matched on teams for a competitive, yet fun, skeet and sport clay shoot.

Guests will be competing for terrific gifts such as tickets to a Texas Rangers game, Coca-Cola for a Year, hotel packages, sporting gifts, and much more!

Sharp-shooting instructors from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will offer optional instruction beginning at noon, followed by competitive play beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Late in the afternoon, a BBQ buffet from Willhite's BBQ featuring brisket, chicken, sausage and all the fixin's (and peach cobbler to boot!) will be served during an award presentation.

A special honor will be extended to State Representative Warren and his wife Omega Chisum for their continuing environmental efforts as the afternoon comes to a close.

COST: The Warren and Omega Chisum Charity Skeet Shoot directly benefits Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) and its numerous programs and projects.
