2012 Conference Call for Presentations

We are looking for a few good speakers! If you have an interesting presentation idea, you are encouraged to submit a Call for Presentations application. You may either submit via a fillable PDF, or download the Word document. Presentations are designed for all levels of experience and we look for a wide variety of topics. Please note that individuals may submit multiple presentation proposals if desired.

We intend to provide high-quality educational and networking opportunities for our constituents. The four-day, multi-track format offers attendees a variety of education sessions and interactive forums.

If you are interested, please complete and return the application to KTB by Friday, February 17, 2012.

The Evaluation Process
Members of the Keep Texas Beautiful Conference Committee evaluate all proposed presentations based on the following criteria: educational in nature, relevant to the KTB mission, overall quality and speaker qualifications. Final selections will be made in March 2012, with all notifications going out at that time. You will be notified only if your presentation is selected.

Presentation Guidelines
Pre-conference Presentations are offered in 3 to 4-hour sessions scheduled for Monday, June 25, 2012.  These presentations are on specific topic areas. We will also consider 8-hour courses, or shorter courses.

Keynote Presentations are 45 – 60 minutes and should be of broad appeal to a diverse conference audience. Keynote speakers are encouraged to include a Q&A, if applicable.

Breakout Presentations are a total of 75 minutes and should include time for Q&A, if applicable. We look for a wide variety of breakout topics that align with our mission.

Speaker Expenses

Keep Texas Beautiful will consider reimbursements for mileage and hotel accommodations on a case-by-case basis.
