Environmental Health Perspectives
This program promotes environmental health literacy, using scientific literature to teach students the principles of environmental health science.
The lessons published through the EHP Science Education Program encourage students to learn about their health and their environment through cooperative hands-on and critical thinking activities and real-world examples.

EPA Teaching Center

Treasures of the Texas Coast Children’s Art Contest
All Texas students (public, private, and home-schooled) in grades K-6 are invited to participate in this art contest, sponsored by the Texas General Land Office. All submissions must be postmarked by Monday, March 5th, 2012.
 
Youth Garden Grants
The National Gardening Association's KidsGardening.com annually awards 400 Youth Garden Grants to schools and other programs throughout the United States. The grants may be awarded to groups who plan on gardening with at least 15 children between the ages of 3 and 18.
