This program works to provide schools the opportunity to earn money while educating children on the importance of recycling.

Enrolled schools receive up to $1.00 per pound of collected H-E-B plastic grocery bags. The reprocessed recycled bags are then used to produce new H-E-B Enviro-Bag^® trash and tall kitchen garbage bags. Aside from the monetary reward to the school, this program provides children with evidence of their environmental contribution.
