Pearland Training: Waste-in-Place Teacher Training
Keep Pearland Beautiful is proud to announce that it will once again host a six hour teacher training based on the Keep America Beautiful Curriculum Waste in Place (WIP). WIP Curriculum is an educational resource and curriculum guide for teachers that provides a balanced perspective of waste and the options for its management in clear and user-friendly formats.
Next workshop available this summer and must have a minimum of 10 teachers signed up to continue with the workshop.
Wednesday July 17:
8:00 am – 3:30 pm
Participating teachers receive continuing education units, TEEAC credit, course materials and Pearland teachers will receive a $100 stipend. The registration for this event is open to anyone (informal educators and teachers from outside of Pearland, but only Pearland teachers (Alvin ISD or Pearland ISD) will receive the $100.00 stipend. Registrants must be first time attendees in order to receive the stipend.
